From 1976 to 1990 he worked as an energy sector specialist in Stavoindustria and was involved in the construction of the metro in Prague, where he had the opportunity to meet the Czech dissidents. Since 1990, he worked as the editor of the drama section of the Slovak Radio in Banská Bystrica.
