Radí sa k významným predstaviteľom medzivojnovej ochotníckej scény. Začiatky jeho hereckého účinkovania sa viažu k banskobystrickému dramatickému odboru Matice slovenskej (1929) a k dokončeniu Národného domu. Eugen Stollmann sa vypracoval na skúseného herca, divadelného režiséra i speváka. Povojnová kinematografia siahla po ňom na obsadenie vedľajších postáv do šiestich filmov: „Kozie mlieko“, „Pole neorané“, „Čisté ruky“, „Zemianska česť“, „Skalní v ofsajde“ a „Statočný zlodej“. Z jeho súkromia sa zachovalo, že v 1. Svetovej vojne bol ťažko poranený a domov prišla správa, že padol. V ruskom zajatí sa zo zranenia dostal, až do smrti mal však následky, ktoré sa prejavovali krívaním. Živil sa ako finančník. Jeho manželstvo bolo bezdetné. Mocným basom s charakteristickou farbou hlasu predspevoval v evanjelickom kostole v Lazovnej ulici. Tam sa konal aj jeho pohreb. Podľa poslednej vôle bol jeho popol rozptýlený.
Eugen Stollmann was a leading figure on the interwar amateur acting scene. He first started acting under the performing arts section of Matica slovenská (a scientific and cultural institution) in Banská Bystrica (1929) in connection with the completion of the National House. Over time, he became an experienced actor, theatre director and singer. Post-war filmmakers cast him in supporting roles in 6 films: Kozie mlieko (Goat Milk), Pole neorané (Unploughed Filed), Čisté ruky (Clean Hands), Zemianska česť (Gentry Pride), Skalní v ofsajde (Ultras Offside) and Statočný zlodej (The Honourable Thief ). As for his private life, it is known that he was seriously injured in World War I and his family was notified of his death. He recovered from his injury during his imprisonment in Russia but suffered from long-term consequences, walking with a limp. He worked in the finance sector. His marriage was childless. His strong bass with a characteristic colour could be heard in the Lutheran Church on Lazovná street. His funeral service was held in the same church. His ashes were scattered in accordance with his last will.
