Prícestná kaplnka v mestskej časti Kostiviarska (dnešná podoba z roku 1904). V interiéri je socha Sv. Jána Nepomuckého z centra mesta Banská Bystrica.
Pôvodne jedna z kaplniek zastavenia Veľkej krížovej cesty z Banskej Bystrice na Španiu Dolinu. Stavba bola rekonštruovaná z iniciatívy rímskokatolíckeho kňaza, dekana, správcu mestskej farnosti Jána Kohutha v roku 1904. Vo vnútri je socha sv. Jána Nepomuckého v nadživotnej veľkosti, privezená z mestskej kaplnky sv. Jána v roku 1902. "História kaplnky siaha podľa dostupných údajov do roku 1836, kedy po dokončení slúžila ako tretie zastavenie krížovej cesty, vedúcej na Španiu Dolinu. Po zbúraní kaplnky Sv. Jána pred barbakanom na bývalom Hornom námestí v roku 1902, darovalo mesto sakrálne predmety vrátane sochy Sv. Jána obci Kostiviarska. Na strope kaplnky sú maľby s motívmi Božieho oka, tŕňovej koruny, Ducha Svätého v podobe holubice a monogramu IHS." (BBSOO)

Originally one of the chapels on the Way of the Cross from Banská Bystrica to Špania Dolina. The building was reconstructed in 1904 on the initiative of Roman Catholic priest, dean, and administrator of the city parish Ján Kohuth. Inside is a larger-than-life size statue of St. John of Nepomuk, brought from the city chapel of St. John in 1902. The chapel is open to the public during the year. “According to available data, the history of the chapel dates back to 1836, when, after its completion, it served as the third station of the Way of the Cross leading to Špania Dolina. After the demolition of the Chapel of St. John in front of the barbican on the former Upper Square in 1902, the town donated sacred objects, including the statue of St. John, to the village of Kostiviarska. The ceiling of the chapel features paintings with motifs of the Eye of God, the Crown of Thorns, the Holy Spirit in the form of a dove, and the monogram HIS” (www.bbsoo.sk).
